Specific information about the website

Use of a marketing software
This website uses HubSpot for marketing activities based on the consent of the website visitors. HubSpot is a software company from the USA with a branch HubSpot Germany GmbH, Am Postbahnhof 17, 10243 Berlin, Germany. We use this integrated software solution for our own marketing, lead generation and customer service purposes. This includes email marketing, which handles the sending of newsletters as well as automated mailings, social media publishing and reporting, contact management such as user segmentation and CRM, landing pages and contact forms. HubSpot uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser on your terminal device and enable an analysis of your use of the website by us. HubSpot analyzes the information collected (e.g. IP address, geographical location, type of browser, duration of visit and pages viewed) on our behalf so that we can generate reports about the visit and the pages viewed. Information collected by HubSpot and the content of our website is stored on servers of HubSpot's service providers. Insofar as you have given your consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO, the processing on this website is carried out for the purpose of website analysis. The website analysis also takes place across pages via the Sikla brand domain.

You can permanently object to the collection of data by HubSpot and the setting of cookies by not consenting to the processing of cookies. Consent given can be revoked at any time and for the future.

You can object to the collection of data by HubSpot and the setting of cookies as part of the Consent Management by not consenting to the processing of cookies. Consent given can be revoked at any time and for the future within the framework of the Consent Management Tool via the following link Privacy Settings.

For the use of HubSpot for the processing of European personal data, there are standard contrac-tual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can view this via the following link (HubSpot DPA   https://f.hubspotusercontent00.net/hubfs/742851/Downloadable_Legal_Docs/HubSpot%20Signed%20DPA%20-%201Sept2020.pdf ).

Newsletter
When registering for our newsletter, you provide us with your e-mail address and optionally other data. We use this information exclusively to send you the newsletter. The data you enter when registering for the newsletter will remain stored by us until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a message to this effect. By unsubscribing, you object to the use of your e-mail address.

Tracking
To be able to measure the performance of our marketing activities, we use different types of tracking. This is necessary to enable our marketing department to work in a customer-oriented manner and to link marketing and sales. To make this process transparent for you to understand, here is a representation of our current tracking options:

Type of tracking
Explanation
Opened e-mail tracking This tracking allows us to analyse the open rates of our marketing e-mails. You agree to this tracking when you submit the newsletter subscription form.
Track clicks It is also possible for us to track clicks within our newsletters in order to analyse the topics of most interest to our subscribers. You agree to this tracking when you submit the newsletter subscription form.
Sources tracking Source tracking enables us to identify the origin of traffic to our websites. This does not happen if you have not accepted the cookies.
Identity Tracking Through our marketing software, we are able to identify contacts who are on our websites and recognize their page views and activities. This only happens when you submit a form in which you expressly agree to the data processing. In addition, the acceptance of cookies on our websites is necessary.

Usage data
When you call up our web pages, you transmit data (out of technical necessity) to our web server (A4N) via your Internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • Web browser and operating system used
  • Complete IP address of the requesting computer
  • volume of data transferred.

For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, this data is stored by us for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymous form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, even in extracts.

Use of web fonts for the operation of the website
This website uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Monotype GmbH (fonts.com or fast.fonts.net), to display fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the servers of fonts.com. This allows fonts.com to know that your IP address has been used to access our website. The use of Fonts.com web fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.  If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer. You can find more information about these web fonts at  https://www.fonts.com/info/legal and in the privacy policy of Fonts.com: https://www.fonts.com/info/legal/privacy and in the privacy policy of Monotype GmbH: https://www.monotype.com/legal/privacy-policy
